CBSE Board Paper Leak Fake News: CBSE has been vigilant in ensuring smooth conduct of class 10th and 12th board exams. Investigations reveal false news of paper leaks and cases of soliciting money from students for exam papers. Stay informed and report any suspicious activities.
CBSE Notification:
The board exams for class 10th and 12th are scheduled from February 15. CBSE has made comprehensive arrangements. Despite this, fake news of paper leaks circulate on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Telegram, Twitter, with exam papers available for purchase. Be cautious and do not fall for misinformation.

What was mentioned by CBSE in the PUBLIC ALERT circular
Against rumours and fake information about upcoming CBSE Class X & XII Exams
1. The CBSE annual examinations of class X & XII are scheduled to be held from 15 February, 2024 upto 02 April, 2024. The Board has made elaborate arrangements for smooth and fair conduct of examinations.
2. It has been observed in the past that during exam time certain unscrupulous elements make effect to spread rumours on YouTube, Facebook, X, Telegram and other social media platforms about paper leak to claim to have access to question papers of exams.
3. Miscreants also circulate fake links of sample papers with the claim that questions will be from those sample papers.
4. Miscreants also circulate fake pictures/videos of question papers which they claim that they have access of question paper which could be made available against payment of money.

5. These persons, group and agencies intend to fleece the gullible students and parents as they demand money in return. Such irresponsible activities also create confusion and panic among the students and public.
6. The Board is vigilant and active in identifying and taking action against those spreading fake news and rumours.
7. CBSE is closely monitoring the situation with the help of law enforcement agencies to take stern action against persons involved in circulating fake news on social media platforms under various provisions of IPC and IT Act.
8. CBSE will take action against a student under UNFAIR MEANS rules and various sections of IPC if found indulging in spreading fake news. Parents are also requested to guide their wards not to believe in such rumours and not indulge in any such activity which hampers the smooth conduct of forthcoming Board examinations.
9. Public is therefore alerted against such unverified news and rumours during the 2024 exams and further requested not to participate in such activities or spread such information through any form of communication to maintain the sanctity of examinations at all cost.

Exams will start from 15th February
Class 10th board exams run from February 15 to March 13, 2024, and class 12th exams from February 15 to April 2, 2024. Exams will take place in a single shift, from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm daily. Stay focused and ignore rumors. Good luck!
